J/80 Specifications

  • This principle one-design boat is 8m50 long and with a displacement of 1495 kg. It is to favor equal opportunities between participants across the globe
  • J/80 is the only sportsboat that is certified for offshore sailing
  • The J/80 class is competitive, but at the same time extremely friendly. The Indian fleet has about 5 boats
  • Each J80 which is required to race is to be measured (sails and hull) by an official measurer of the Class Association, be up to date with its subscription and stickers
